  Niagara Gazette - 12/28/1968 Charles Bechtel, 70,' of 407 10th St. died Friday (Dec. 27, 1968) in Memorial Hospital following a two-Week illness. A native of the Town of Cam* bria. Mr Bechtel retired ,In 1962 after working 33 years for the DuPont Co.'s Niagara Work; where he was employed as a millwright. He lived in the Town of Niagara most of his life until he moved to Niagara Falls eight years ago. Mr Bechtel was a member of Lodge 785, F&AM. He-,is survived by his wife, Viola, of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Mildred) Wielgus and Mrs,Melyin'(Mar- jorie) Aube; two.sisters, Mrs. Halvin (Gertrude) Alcorn and Mrs. Elizabeth Martin; all of Niagara Fals, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held T u e s d a y at 11 a.m. at the Rhoney Funeral Home with the Rev. William J. Devine' pastor of Niagara United Presbyterian Churoh, officiating Friends may call at the fu nerial home from 2 to 5. p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m Sunday and Monday.
