Born on March 3, 1952 in Lockport, he was a son of the late Cecil "James" and Mary Alice (Beakman) Lockhart. A 1971 graduate of Akron Central Schools, where he would later work; he had also worked for the Village of Akron and most recently AirSep in Amherst. He enjoyed golf, racing, and spending time with family. Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, Tim (Ramona) Lockhart of Youngstown; a sister, Mary Alice Lockhart of Lockport; a niece, Stacy (Dan) Price; a nephew, Tim (Rochelle) Lockhart, all of Lockport. Visitation will be on Thursday 6-9 PM in the Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel, 263 East Avenue, Lockport, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM followed by burial in Cold Springs Cemetery.
