A farmer in the Town of Pendleton
for 64 years, Michael Fiegl Sr.,
88, died Friday night at 11 o'clock
at his home in the Fiegl Road
after an illness of six months. He
was a native of the Town of Amherst,
Erie County.
Mr. Fiegl was a former Pendleton
supervisor and had been treasurer
of the Farmers Mutual Insurance
Company of Erie and Niagara Counties
for several years. He was a
member 6f the Holy Name Society
of Good Shepherd Church.
Surviving are a son, Michael
Fiegl Jr., of North Tonawanda; six
grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren,
and a brother, Jacob Fiegl,
Town of Clarence.
Services will be held Tuesday at
8:30 at the home and at 9 o'clock
at Good Shepherd Church. Burial
will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery
