A painter and paper hanger In
Lockport nearly all his life, Arthur
T. Savigny, 72, died this morning
'June 24, 1958 at his home. 28
Irving St, He had been ill four
years.
Mr. Savigny was born June 7,
1886, in Hunter, a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Andrew B. Savigny. He came
to Loekpart at the age of 2 and
was educated at the former Walnut
St. and Intermediate Schools.
He was employed by the late
Edward O'Brien and the Mortimer
Co., but In recent years was
working independently. He was a
member of the Exempt Flremen's
Assn.
Be hi survived by his wife, the
former Mary F. Bicker. Lockport.
and one brother, Frederick C. Savigny
Of Lakeside
Friends will be received at Ken
nedy Funeral Home, 122 Walnut
St, today and tomorrow from 2
to 5 and 7 to 9. where services will
be held Thursday morning at 11
Burial will , be In Cold Spring
Cemetery.
