Frank Wadsworth Bickford, 33 years
old, one of Wilson's- most popular and
best known young men, died at his
home on the Town Line road Saturday
with heart disease after an illness of
only five days. He was an active mem-
ber of the local Presbyterian church,
being deacon, elder, trustee and treas-
urer of that church at the time of his
death. He was an active advocate of
every good cause. He is survived by
his wife, formerly Miss Evelyn Eliza-
beth Carrigan, two sons, Franklin Ed-
gar and Lee Wadsworth; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. W. Edgar Bickford; two
sisters, Mrs. George H. Upton and Mrs.
Lenson Stevens of Wilson and one
brother, Glenn Bickford of Akron, Ohio.
The funeral which was largely attend-
ed, was held from the home Tuesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Peter Bur-
rell of Syracuse, formerly pastor of the
local Presbyterian church officiating.
The burial was at North Ridge ceme-
tery.
