Ovid. Aug. 10-Holy Cross Rectory
on South Main Street was
the scene of the wedding of Miss
Gertrude Biddle, daughter of Mr
and Mrs. Ernest Biddle of Chapman
Street, and Charles W. Farr,
son of Mrs. Pearl Farr of Lodi,
at 5:30, Thursday afternoon. Attendants
were Miss Helen Dohrer
of Lodi. and Richard Farr, brother
of the groom, also of Lodi.
Bev. Patrick O'Donnell, assistant
pastor at Holy Cross Church celebrated
the marriage ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of
white crepe and white accesories
to match. Her flowers were
Talisman roses and baby breath.
Miss Dohrer were a gown of pink
crepe, with matching accessories,
and carried delicate pink roses.
The, wedding was followed by a
reception and dinner at the
Townsend Hotel at Lodi.
Following a honeymoon trip to
Babylon. Long Island and New
York City, t h e young couple will
make their home at Lodi.
