  Syracuse NY Journal - 6/24/1929 James Biddle-James Biddle, 80, a native of England, died yesterday at his home, 335 Cortland av. He had resided in Syracuse 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ellen Biddle; three daughters, Mrs. A. R. Searle of Baldwinsville and Mrs. R. E. Archer and Mrs. W. J. Oertel of Syracuse; a son, E. J. Biddle of Ovid; 18 grandchildren and six jgreat-grandchildren. Funeral tomor- row at 2:30 p.m. with burial in Woodlawn.
