A pretty wedding took place yesterday
afternoon at 4 at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. William Watson
of 8 Academy Place when their
daughter, Kathryn Marie became
the bride of Wesley Woodward
Bills, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arch
Bills of Auburn. The ceremony
was performed by Rev. L. B. Main,
pastor of North Main Street Methodist
church in the presence of the
immediate families and a few intimate
friends.
Attired in White
The bride was becomingly attired
in a gown of white chiffon and a
tulle veil and carried a bouquet of
bridal roses. Her attendants were
her sister, Miss Esther Watson,
who wore a gown of green mousseline
de soie and Miss Christine
Sad Ion of Little Falls, a classmate,
who wore peach mousseline de soie.
Both bridesmaids carried peach
colored gladioli and baby's breath.
The best man was Allen Bills of
Ayburn, brother of the bridegroom.
Music was furnished by Miss
Cymbleen Nestle who played "I
Love You Truly" and "O Promise
Me." As the bridal party entered
the living room Miss Nestle played
Lohengrin's "Wedding March."
Later in the afternoon the couple
left for a short wedding trip by
auto and upon their return will
reside in a new apartment at 92
Plymouth avenue South in Rochester.
Attend Same Schools
The bride is a graduate of the
Gloversville High school, class of
1929. She attended Hartwick College
and was graduated from the
Mechanics Institute in Rochester,
class of 1934 after persuing the
Food Administration course. She
is, now assistant manager of the
Home Dairy Cafeteria Co. in Rochester.
The bridegroom is a graduate of
Auburn High school and the Chemical
Department of Mechanics Institute,
class of 1933. He is connected
with the Eastman Kodak
Co. as chemist.
The out of town guests were
Mrs. Arch Bills, Allen Bills, Roscoe
Bills and Miss Elizabeth Eldrige of
Auburn and Miss Christine Sadlon
of Little Falls.

Wesley W. Bills of Pittsford died Saturday,
June 30,1984 at his Larchwood
Drive home after an extended battle
with cancer. He was 71. °
Mr. Bills was born in Auburn and
was a graduate of Auburn High School.
Hereceived a bachelor's degree in chemical
engineering from Mechanics Institute,
Rochester, and did some graduate
work at the University of Rochester.
He was a 45-year employee of the
Eastman Kodak Company, working in
the paper mill as a chemical engineer
before becoming assistant superintendent
at Kodak Park. He retired in 1976.
Mr. Bills was active in the Boy Scouts
from 1944 to 1956 serving as a committeeman,
merit badge counselor and as
Great Northern District chairman. He
also served as a trustee and treasurer of
the Seneca United Methodist Church
and as a committee member on the Rochester
District Union of the United
Methodist Church.
Since retiring, he spent many hours
volunteering at Genesee Hospital. In
his spare time, Mr. Bills enjoyed woodworking,
vacationing in the Adirondacks
and traveling to Europe, Canada,
and the South Pacific.
A service in his memory was" held
July 10 at the Seneca United Methodist
Church, Irondequoit. Funeral arrangements
were by the Willard H. Scott
Funeral Home, Webster.
Mr. Bills leaves his wife, Kathryn;
two sons and daughters-in-law, David
and Sandra, Alan and Sharon; a daughter
and son-in-law, Kathryn and Richard
Bushnell; 12 grandchildren; and
two brothers, Roscoe and Allan. Contributions
may be madein his memory
to the Cancer Fund or Seneca United
Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
