Mrs. Wanda R. (Kapelka)
Bilski, 51, of. 492 19th St.
former proprietor of Topper's
Tavern, same address,
died Thursday (Feb. 22, 1962)
in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital
after a long illness.
Mrs. Bilski was a natice
of this city. She was graduat-
ed from Holy Trinity paro-
chial school, Niagara Falls
High School, and from the
Kelley Business Institute
here. She operated the tavern
at the 19th Street address
for 19 years, until 1959.
She was a member of
Tadeja Society, Polish Wom-
ens' Alliance; Jonquil Grove,
Woodman of the World
Auxiliary; Niagara Chapter
17, Women of the Moose;
and the Niagara County
Liquor Dealer Association.
Mrs. Bilski was the widow
of Joseph Bilski, who died
in 1959, and daughter of Mrs.
Anna (Kapelka) Cebulski,
who died Monday.
Surviving are three sisters,
mrs. Stephen (Julia) Golem-
biewski, of Buffalo; Mrs.
Vincent (Lotti) Wasiewicz;
and mrs. John (Emily) Lucas,
both of this city; and two
brothers,, Zygmunt and Ches-
ter Kapelka, both of this
city.
Services will be held at
9:30 a.m. Monday at the
Zajac Funeral Home, and at
10 a.m. with a solemn Re-
quiem High Mass at Holy
Trinity Roman Catholic
Church. Burial will be in
Holy Trinity Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited
at 8:15 Sunday at the
funeral home.
