THE WEDDING of Miss Judith Ann
Britton to George H. Wynes III, USMC, was
solemnized in Hope Evangelical Lutheran
Church Saturday, (Sept. 13, 1958). The
Rev. Leland Stevens united the couple in a
double-ring ceremony.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Britton Jr., Lockport Rd.; was
escorted to the altar by her father. She
wore a gown of pure .silk embellished with
sequins and seed pearls on alencon lace.
The fitted bodice had a sabrina neckline and
short sleeves and the bouffant, skirt, falling
to a chapcl-lcngth train, was enhanced by
alencon lace. " Her matching headpiece
caught the fingertip-length veil of scalloped
illusion and she carried a bouquet of white
roses and stcphanotis centered with pink
sweetheart roses.

MISS JANICE KOMAREK, Queens,
N. Y a college.classmate of the bride, was
maid of honor. Her frock was of emerald
green taffeta with a scoop neckline, fitted
bodice and bouffant skirt. She carried a
cascade bouquet of yellow Fuji mums.
Mrs. Vcrn Collins, a cousin of the
bride, was dressed exactly like the maid of
honor to serve as bridesmaid, her flowers
were bronze Fuji mums. Another cousin
of the bride, Miss Georgia Britton, was the
junior bridesmaid, and was dressed like the
other attendants.

THE BRIDEGROOM, son of Mr. and
Mrs. George H. Wynes Jr., Michigan Ave.,
had as best man William Ogden and the ush-
ers were Benjamin Johns Jr. and Jack Brit-
ton, the bride's brother.
'The bride's mother wore a royal blue
silk sheath dress with matching accessories
and a corsage of pink sweetheart roses and
stcphanotis for the reception in the Lewiston
Fire Hall. A blue print sheath dress with a
corsage of roses was the choice of the
^bridegroom's mother.
After a honeymoon travelling through
the eastern provinces of Canada the bride-
groom will return to duty in London, Eng-
land where the new Mrs. Wynes will join
him at a later date,
