  Ruth M. Paterniti, 95, a life-long resident of Niagara Falls, NY, peacefully passed away on April 6, 2020 at Elderwood Nursing Home in Lockport. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Captain Frank Paterniti; and two daughters, Judith and Lynn. For over 40 years Ruth and her husband, Frank, shared a passion for making, painting and selling ceramic dolls. Ruth was an expert at sewing and making clothes. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music, attending garage sales in addition to caring for her dogs and cats. Ruth will be greatly missed by her three grandsons, Patrick J. Letourneau II and his girlfriend, Amy House, Noel J. Letourneau and his wife, Kelly, Christopher P. Letourneau and his wife, Kim; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Victoria. Ruth's wishes were for a cremation and due to COVID-19 memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her favorite organization, the SPCA.
