- Lewis E. Huff, Jr., 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life into the eternal, loving arms of Jesus on January 1, 2021. Born on November 7, 1950, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Lewis E. Huff, Sr. and the late Alphonsine ‘Mary’ (Goodin) Huff. On November 7, 1970, he married Deborah L. DeGregorio.
Lewis was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. He was employed as a welder for Carborundum and the New York State Power Authority, all through the Carpenters Union, Local #276. Lewis worshipped at Greater Niagara Falls Church of God.
In addition to his beloved wife of 50 years, Lewis is survived by loving sons, Lewis E. (Carrie) Huff, III and Michael James (Katherine) Huff; adored grandchildren, Lacey, Loren, Michael, Mattingly, Maris and Richard; siblings, Bernadette (Alfred) DeGregorio, Alfred Huff, Ruth (Anthony) Ponzi, Lloyd Huff and Randy Huff and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Marion Miller and brothers, William and Gordon Huff.
Lewis’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Niagara Falls Church of God, 2334 Lockport Road, Sanborn, NY, with Rev. Joseph Whitman officiating. Friends invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Greater Niagara Falls Church of God. Professional arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
