William K. Biro
May 12, 1937 –July 17, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William K. Biro, who left us peacefully on July 17, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Bill was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 12, 1937, the son of Kenneth and Pauline Biro. He graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1955. On May 15, 1965, he married Marylyn Stone, who predeceased him in 2013.
Bill is survived by his loving children: Todd (Marie), Brett (Jenn), Budd (Stacy), and Joshua Biro; John and David Bobbitt; and one daughter, April (Russ) Carere. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to 15 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul, Jerry (June), and Steve (Carol) Biro. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his son, Stephen Biro, and siblings Guy, Nancy, Delores, and Mary.
Throughout his life, Bill worked for General Abrasive, Sid Harvey’s, and Niagara University. He dedicated over 50 years of service as a member of Active Hose Fire Company and was a former President of the Town of Niagara Lions Club, reflecting his deep commitment to his community.
Bill had an infectious passion for old cars, and he truly loved connecting with people. A natural salesman and storyteller, he brought humor and warmth wherever he went. He enjoyed going dancing with his partner, Ellie, creating cherished memories on countless dance floors. Above all, Bill adored his family and his faithful canine companion, Cookie, who was always by his side.
Bill will be remembered as a great man and father—a loving presence whose kindness, laughter, and big heart touched everyone he met. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and countless memories that his family and friends will hold close forever.
Rest in peace, Mr. B, Papa, Dad. You are deeply loved and will be forever missed.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Thursday, July 24th, from 4-7:30 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where a funeral service will follow visitation at 7:30 p.m.
