  Nancy Schmitt of Lockport, NY wife of the late Robert Schmitt entered into rest on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in Buffalo, NY, born in Lockport on February 19, 1930. The daughter of the late Walter MacEvoy and Mary Isabella Zimmerman MacEvoy. Nancy and Robert were married for over 60 years. She was a member of the Ridgewood Bible Church where she taught junior church for decades. She loved painting, chalk drawing, horses, and spending time with her family. Mother of Kathleen (Richard) McIntosh, Daniel (Lillian) Schmitt, Emily (Norman) Atwater, Thomas (Lisa) Schmitt, David (Theresa) Schmitt and Nathan (Crystal) Schmitt. Sister of the late Jean (Milton) Lute, Lila (Robert) Fogel, Walter (Geraldine) MacEvoy and Annette (Harold Jr.) Swan. Also survived by 27 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at Ridgewood Bible Church 7073 Ridge Rd. Lockport, NY on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11:30am – 1:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm. Burial will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
