MIDDLEPORT - Morgan A.
McDermott, 77, of 6 Mill St., died
Saturday at Medina Memorial
Hospital
He was born Oct. 29, 1908 in
Newfane, to the late John and Clara
(McHugh) McDermott. He had lived
in Middleport since 1975, and prior to
that in Lockport. He worked at
Harrison, Division of GM, for
several years retiring in 1972, and
was a member of St. Stephen's R. C.
Church of Middleport.
Survivors include his wife, Mary
McDermott; three daughters and
two sons, Mrs. Vincent (Bonnie)
Olscamp of Rochester, Mrs. Frank
(Dorothy) Caraglin of Niagara
Falls, Mrs. Edward (Catherine)
Just of Lockport, Gordon (Myrtle)
Bisher and Donald Bisher, both of
Lockport; 20 grandchildren; 28
great-grandchildren; one brother,
James McDermott of Lockport; one
sister, Mrs. Leroy (Estelle) Kropp
of Florida, and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call today (2-4, 7-9)
at the Bates, Wallace and Heath
Funeral Home Inc., 38 State St. A
vigil service will be held at the
funeral home tonight at 8:15 p.m.
Funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's
Church where a mass of Christian
burial will be celebrated by the Rev.
Samuel J. Faiola.
Burial will be in Acacia park
Cemetery, North Tonawanda.
