- Ardyth (nee Hultman) Creasey, age 90, of Tonawanda, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Schofield Residence, after a long illness. Born in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Werner and Helena (nee Anderson) Hultman and had been a resident of Tonawanda for the greater part of her life. Ardyth was a teacher for the City of Tonawanda School system before retiring and a member and former board member of the WNY Gluten Free Diet Support Group.
She was the wife of the late Roy E. Creasey, who died July 10, 2000; mother of Christine (Gary) Griffin of Pine Bush, Janice Lindner of Tonawanda, and Claire Krueger of Tonawanda; grandmother of Ryan (Courtney) Griffin, Jeffrey (Samantha Meyer) Griffin, Keith (Lindsey) Lindner, Corey (Ashley) Lindner, and Katie Lindner; and sister of Janice M. Swanson of Batavia, Illinois and Verna Mae Johnson of Mercer Island, Washington. Also surviving are 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There is no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 5, at Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore. Friends invited. Inurnment at White Chapel Memorial Park, Town of Amherst. If desired, memorials to Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore, NY 14217, or Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227, are preferred by the family.
