NIAGARA FALLS — Daniel J. Figurilli, 50, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Anne (Buffone) Figurilli.
Daniel, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School in 1981. He later attended Erie County Community College in Buffalo, NY, and earned a bachelor's degree in 1985. He was a long-time business owner in Niagara Falls, NY. Dan was a member of an online Astrology Club and a Star Trek fan club member. In his leisure time he enjoyed gardening and had a keen interest in outer space. Daniel was also a fan of drag racing, as well as being an avid sports fan, especially of hockey.
Daniel is survived by his fiance, Lisa Baker of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister, Noreen A. (Ray Olivate) Noller of West Seneca, NY; one brother, Gary J. Figurilli of Niagara Falls, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
