- North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 10/13/1928
Fred R. Clench, 30 years old,
was found dead in bed at his
home, 22 Minerva street, this
morning. Health Officer J. T.
Harris was called and announced
that death was due to natural
causes. Clench was born in North
Tonawanda and had lived in the
Tonawandas all his life. He was
a veteran of the World War. He
is survived by a wife, Myrtle;
two sons, Fred R. Jr., and Eugene;
a mother, Mrs. Mary Clench; two
sisters, Mrs. Arthur Brett and
Mrs. Milford Bishop and two
brothers, Ralph and Woodrow
Blench. The funeral will be held
Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock
at the late residence, Rev. C. L.
Braun of the Grace Lutheran
church officiating. Interment will
be at the City cemetery.
