Wilma R. (Babe) Scroger,
59, of Lewiston Road, Basom,
was dead on arrival at the
Genesee Memorial Hospital,
Batavia, Monday morning.
Born in Medina on July 15,
1922, a daughter of Melvin and
Rose (Bissell) Foreman, she
had lived on Lewiston Road for
the past 30 years.
Mrs. Scroger is survived by
her husband, Walter I.
Scroger; a son, Michael of
Basom; three daughters, Mrs.
Lee (Carol) Prentice of
Basom, Mrs. Richard (Sandra)
Stock well of Holley and
Mrs. Gordon (Katherine)
Bentley of Churchville; seven
grandchildren; her mother,
Mrs. Melvin (Rose) Foreman
of Basom; a sister, Mrs.
Donald (Marion) Lusk of.
Albion, and several nephews,
nieces and cousins.
Friends and relatives may
call at the Houseman Funeral
Home, 228 Park Ave., Medina,
where the family will be
present from 7-9 today and 2-4,
7-9 on Wednesday.
The Rev. Richard Clark,
pastor of the Alabama
Methodist Church, will officiate
at a 2 p.m. service on
Thursday, with burial in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery, West
Shelby.
