The marriage of Miss Doris
Marion Bullard, daughter of Mr
and Mrs. Claude Bullard of New
fane, and Richard Charles Bis-
sett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Erwln
Bissell of RD 6 was solemnized
Saturday, June 26, at St. Mary's
Church. The Rev. Albert G. Win-
ter officiated at the ceremony be
fore an altar trimmed with roses,
larkspur, carnnations and fern.
Give in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride was attired in a
gown of white net over satin. She
wore a fingertip veil of illusion
caught to a halo etched with seed
pearls, and carried a bouquet of
rosebuds, white carnations and
baby breath. Her only jewellry was
a cross given her by the bride-
groom.
BRIDE'S ATTENDANTS
Mrs. Mae Buczkowski of New-
fane was matron of honor in a
gown of yellow net over matching
satin. The Misses Theresa and
Lois Layer of Lockport wee
bridesmaids. Their gowns of neet
over satin were blue. All the at-
tedants wore picture hats to
match their gowns and carried
bouquets of white carnations, lark-
spur and rosebuds.
Mac Buczkowski attended the
bridegroom as best man. Ushers
were brothers of the bride and
groom, Erwin Bissell Jr. and
Claude Bullard Jr.
Music at the church was by
Mrs. Norbert Fritton, organist.
MOTHERS' DRESSES
For her daughter's wedding.
Mrs. Bullard chose a dress ofM
dusty rose silk with white acces
sories and a corsage of yellow
rosebuds. The mother of the
groom selected blue nylon with
white accessories and a corsage
of pink rosebuds.
A wedding dinner was served
at noon at the Park Hotel. A re-
ception later was held at the home
of the groom's parents in Ridge
wood. Eighteen were seated at the
bride's table which was decorated
with a six-tiered wedding cake
and the bridal bouquets- Serving
at the reception were Mrs. Bul-
lard Jr. and Mrs. Bissell Jr.
A cream colored cord suit was
worn by the bride for an Eastern
wedding trip. The couple will re-
side at 17 South Main St., New-
fane.
GUESTS PRESENT
Out-of-town guests were from
Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Roches-
ter, Barker and Olcott.
The bride ia a graduate of New
fane Central School. The groom,
who was graduated from Lock-
port High School, served nine years
overseas with the armed forces,
four years with the U. S. Army and
five years with the Air Force.
Prior to her marriage the bride
was honored at five showers. They
were given by Mrs. Buczkowski,
Mrs. Jean Colletti, Mrs. Bissell
Jr.; the Misses Layer; Mrs.. Bul-
lard Jr.; Girls Bowling Team of
Lockport Felt Mill gave a dinner
party at the Park Hotel and em-
ployes of the Felt Mill a dinner
at the Middleport Country Club.
