- Beatrice (Bissell) Buczkowski
September 10, 1924 - July 31, 2018
Beatrice (Bissell) Buczkowski, aka Aunt Bea, owner of B&B Sound, has gone to the great casino-bingo hall in the sky. Bea was an avid entertainer with her music, her red hair and her feisty young at heart attitude, which she spread among family and friends. She was very dedicated in her support of the military and showed it with several hats of the branches of the Armed Forces.
Beatrice was born in Alabama, NY on September 10, 1924, a daughter of the late Erwin and Ethel Bissell. She is survived by her son, Matthew (Leslie) Buczkowski; three granddaughters, Stacey (Scott) Pollack, Tina (Amos) Andrews and Julie (Dale) Llewellyn. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sophie (Fini) Bissell; son-in-law, Ronald (late Elaine) Hackett and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Mac Buczkowski; her daughter, Elaine (Ronald) Hackett; two brothers, Richard and Erwin Bissell and her sister, Alila "Jeannie" Prentice.
Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main Street in Newfane, NY on Monday from 5:30-7:00 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM. Donations may be made to WNY Heroes, Inc., 8205 Main St., #1, Williamsville, NY 14221.
