LOCKPORT, Jan. 16 - Mrs.
Anna Elizabeth Seidel, 72, who
lived alone at 243 van Buren St.,
was found dead on the sidewalk in
the rear, of her home, at about 7:25
this morning. The police report
stated Mrs., Seidel "appeared to
have been dead for several hours."
Mr. Lemuel R. Hurlbut, Niagara
County coroner is investigating.
Mrs. Seidel's bady wis seen on
the sidewalk this morning by Mrs.
Louis L. Sclnta as she opened the
curtains of the dining room window
in her home. Mrs. Scinta
lives next door and notified police
and Patrolmen Robert J. Costello
and Howard J. Ray investigated.
Mrs. Seidel a native of Medina
bad lived in tockport about 30
years. She was the widow of
Charles Seidel and the daughter of
the late Countland and Matilda
Boyce Bissell. A sister, Mrs. Delia
Pagenant, of Medina, and a
brother, Melvin Bissell, Kendell
survive.
Services will be Wednesday at
1:30 at Taylor and Reynolds Funeral
Home, the Rev. Herbert L.
Siegner, pastor of St. Peters Evangelical
and Reformed church, officiating.
Burial will be in Cold
Springs Cemetery
