- Deborah (nee Olson) Berdzik, age 61, of North Tonawanda, died Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Niagara Hospice after a long battle with cancer. Born March 22, 1956 in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Nan (nee Jeeves) and Richard K. Olson, and sister of the late Peggy Wydysh. Debbie had been the Seafood Department Manager at Tops Markets in Tonawanda before becoming ill.
She was the wife of Gregory J. Berdzik; mother of Gregory R. (Sabrina) Berdzik and Nicholas Berdzik; grandmother of Henry Berdzik; and aunt to several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends after 3 PM on Thursday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where Memorial Services will be held at 4 PM Thursday; the Rev. Jeff Nowak officiating.
