Mrs. Elizabeth M. Davison, 64, wife
of Lyman L. Davison, died at 9
o'clock Thursday evening in her
home, 25 Pound street, after an illness
of several weeks.
Born Oct. 28, 1872, in the town of
Royalton, Mrs. Davison was the
daughter of Gustave and Johanna
Schuster Bistoff. For the past 22
years she had made her home in
this city. She was a member of the
First Presbyterian church, a past
lady major of the Ladles Auxiliary
Patriarchs Militant and a past district
deputy of the Rebekah lodges
in this district.
Besides her husband, she leaves
one daughter, Mrs. Blanche E. Carson
of Buffalo; three sisters and
four brothers, Theodore Bistoff of
Akron, John and Edward Bistoff,
Mrs. Henry Bischer and Mrs. August
Raduns, all of Lockport, Mrs. John
Murtaugh of Cambria and William
Bistoff of Buffalo.
The body will remain in the family
home until Sunday morning when
it will be removed to the Prudden
Funeral home, 343 Genesee street,
where services will be held at 3:30
o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev.
Stephen Palmer, minister of the
First Presbyterian church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Mountain
Ridge cemetery.
