  Notes	Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 9/28/1944 The marriage of Gladys L. Smith to Oliver G. Skeets was quietly solemnized Sept. 16 at 6 o'clock. The bride wore a 2-plece suit of turquoise blue with black accessories and s shoulder corsage of gardenias and pink roses. Mrs. Howard G. Allison, her only attendant, wore a wool suit of powder blue with luggage tan accessories. Her corsage was of gardenias, and yellow roses. Howard G. Allison was best man. A dinner for the immediate families was held at the Park Hotel.

  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 11/18/1970 SKEETS - Gladys L. Skeets passed away suddenly at her home 55 Oliver Street Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1970. Wife of Oliver G. Skeets; mother of Mrs. Harold (Joyce) Mohaupt, Woodbridge, Va., Mrs, David (Mary) Strong, Lockport and the late Mrs. William (Betty) Degan, Elmira; Step daughter of Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Blstoff. Lockport, sister of John Kenneth Bistoff, Penn Yan, step sister of Mrs. Wilfred (Marv) Miles, Newfane. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren and sever? nieces and nephews. Friends mav call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. In- terment in Cold Spring Cemetery.
