  Florence M. Tarajos of Gasport, NY wife of the late Thomas Tarajos entered into rest on Tuesday August 27, 2019 in Kenmore, NY. She was born in Newfane, NY on March 19, 1941, the daughter of the late William and Florence Bartel Raetz. Florence worked at Key Bank in Barker, NY. She enjoyed spending time, going on day trips and to dinner with her boyfriend Lloyd. Florence was very involved with Boy Scout troop 26 as Treasurer and Secretary. Mother of William (Kristen) Tarajos and Stephen (Victoria Suto) Tarajos. Grandmother of Anna, Aaron, Samuel and Sarah Tarajos. Sister of David Raetz, Walter "Butch" Raetz and the late Richard and William Raetz. Loving companion of Raymond "Lloyd" Short. Sister in law of Peter, Theresa Tarajos and the late Ignatius "Jim", Joseph, John Tarajos and Paul Tarajos. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Thursday August 29, 2019 from 7-9pm, Friday August 30, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11am in St. Brendan on the Lake Parish (St. Bridget's) 3455 Ewings Rd. Newfane, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
