Miss Beverly Adelynn Bistoff, daughter of Mrs. Avice
D. Bistoff, formerly of Loudonville, and William Edward
Fasake, son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. H. Fasake of Elder
street, were married Saturday afternoon, June 24, at 3
o'clock- at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Rev. Adolph L. Steinke performed the ceremony. Miss
Virginia Sands was at the organ. William Newman sang
"I Love You Truly," and "Because."
Gown of Satin and Lace
The bride wore a strapless gown
of white Chantilly lace with a hip
length jacket of white slipper satin
made with long pointed sleeves and
a Cathedral length train. Her finger
tip veil of French illusion was
edged with Chantilly lace and fell
from a helmet of pleated satin and
lace. She carried white orchids on
a prayer book with streamers ,of
white sweet peas.
The matron of honor, Mrs. Clarence
Stevens of Corning, sister of
the bride, wore blue lace and net
oyer white satin. She carried a blue
net fan with white and pink roses
and sweet peas. She wore blue lace
mitts and a picture hat.
The bridesmaids were Miss Peggy
Vonada of Batavia and Miss Joan
Hoffman of Akron, NY, a cousin of
the bride. Each was gowned in blue'
lace and. net over blue satin and
carried blue net fans with pink
sweet peas and roses. They wore
blue mitts and matching picture
hats.
Robert J. Bahr of Syracuse was
best man. Richard Reeks of
Latham and Howard Beardmore of
this city were ushers.
The wedding reception was held
at the parlors of the church. The
bride's mother received in a taupe
gown with accesories of taupe and
white. The mother, of the bridegroom
wore green jersey. Each had
a corsage of orchids.
The couple will spend a week on
the New England coast, after which
they will motor through the southern
states.
The bride was graduated from
the New York State College for
Teachers, Albany, in 1948 and did
graduate work in the field of guidance.
She taught commercial subjects
at Springfield Central School,
East Springfield. She is a member
of the United Business Education
association.
The' bridegroom is a graduate o f
Nott Terrace high school, Union
College, class of 1948, and has done
graduate work In electrical engineering
at Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute where he is now an Instructor
in the electrical engineering
department. He is a member of
the American Society for Engineering
Education, the American Institute
of Electrical Engineers and
Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
