Rapids Road, Clarence Center,
died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, in
Lockport Memorial Hospital.
Born in the Town of Locknort,
Sept. 15, 1879, she was a
daughter of William and
Elisabeth (Hollenbeck) Preisch.
Mrs. Baker was the widow
of Jacob B. Baker, who died
in 1944.
She was a member of the
Hunts Corners Baptist Church.
Survivors i n c l u d e five
daughters, Mrs. Roy (Letah)
Hoffman, of Akron; Mrs. Avice
Bistoff of Savonia; Mrs. Arnold
(Edith) Koons of Clarence
Center; Mrs. Alton (Marjorie)
Hoste and Mrs. Lester (Neva)
Penwright, both of Lockport;
eight grandchildren, nine great
grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the
Bernhardt Funeral Home, 130
Main St., Akron at their convenience.
Family will be
present from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. today and tomorrow. The
Rev. John Mair, pastor of Hunts
Comers Baptist Church, and a
former pastor, the Rev. Robert
Worrell, will conduct services
at the funeral home at 2 p.m.
Sunday, Burial will be in Eldred
Cemetery,
