  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 8/6/1962 A 38 year employe of Harrison Radiator Division, General Motors Corp., who retired May 1, 1962. William J. Bittler, 62, of 89 Pine St., died Sunday (Aug. 5, 1962) at Lockport Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bittler was born in North Tonawanda, Feb. 28, 1900. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine A. Frantz Bittler, one daughter, Mrs. Charles Roth; one grandson; two brothers, Frank and Paul Bittler; a stepfather, Arthur Bates, all of Lockport. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 at the Gaul Funeral Home, 263 East Ave., where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. George Dickson will officiate. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
