  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 9/11/1919 Joshua Bixler aged 77 years, a life long resident of this road passed away at his home Saturday, September 6th, he leaves besides his wife, three sons, George and Glenn of Newfane, and Scott of Hartland. Mr. Bixler was a veteran of the Civil War, burial in Wrights Corners cemetery.
