Mr. James G. Blackburn of Tonawanda,
N Y.. announces the engagement
of his daughter, Dorothy F
to Mr. Leo V. Lewis of Barker, N. T.
The wedding will take place in October.

The marriage of Miss Dorothy F.
Blackburn, daughter of Mr. James
Blackburn, to Mr, Leo V. Lewis, took
place Wednesday morning, October
20, at 11:30 o'clock In the rectory of
Saint Francis church. Tonawanda,
the Rev. Welsmantel officiating. The
bride wore a gown of white georgette,
heavily beaded in crystal and read
beads and embroidered in silver, sil-
ver slippers and hose to match and
she carried a shower bouquet of red
roses, lilies of the valley and baby's
breath. Her attendants were Mrs.
Helen L. Altimari, who was gowned
in rose georgette made bouffant,
flesh colored hose and black satin
slippers, aud carried rosebuds, larkspur
and lilies of t h e valley; Mrs, R,
If. ffmrtrtrt wore flesh colored georgette,
trimmed In rhinestones. white hose
and slippers and she curried
deep pink roues, larkspur and lilies
of the valley. The bride's little sister,
Judy, as flower girl, wore a frock of
pink taffeta and carried a basket of
roses; lilies of the valley and baby's
breath. The groom was attended by
his brothers, Mr. Jack Lewis and Mr.
James Lewis. A wedding breakfast
was served at the home of the bride
in Tremont street for 30 guests. The
buffet table was centered with the
wedding cake, surrounded by ferns
and baby's breath and red candles in
silver holders, with ribbons leading
to the ornament on the cake. Among
the out of town guests were, Mr. and
Mrs. H. G. Faulatich and daughter,
Agnes, Chicago; Mrs. Margaret Lewis
and daughter, Mary; Mr. and Mrs.
Francis Lewis, Rochester; Mr. Wil-
liam Lewis, Misses Helen and May
Lewis, Mr. James Burns of Barker.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis will be at home
after November 1 in Tonawanda, N.
Y.
