  Niagara Gazette - 8/4/1964 LOCKPORT - Charles E. Blackley, 90, of 395 Lincoln Ave., died Monday (Aug. 3, 1964) in Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born here, March 16, 1874, he had been employed by the American District Steam Co. and the Lockport Heat and Power Co. Before joining the Upson Co. as a steamfitter He retired in 1948. He had lived at 72 Webb St. for more than 30 years until 1962. His wife, Nettie Petrie Blackley, died in 1949. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Roy R. Ritz arid Mrs. F. Allen Watters, both of Lockport, and Mrs. 0. E. Wagner, Covina, Calif.; two sons. Fred W. and Milton W. Blackley, both of Lockport: six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a brother, Alvin J. Blackley, Lockport: and several nieces and nephews. Friends mav call., at his home. Funeral arrangements will be announced late. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
