Mr. and Mrs. Roy R. Ritz,
former Lockportians now
living in Florida, were
honored upon their 50th
wedding anniversary at a
'reception Oct. 14 at the
Redman hall.
The couple, who for the
past six years have made
their home in Seminole,
Fla., formerly resided on
Caledonia Street in Lockport.
Thev were married bv the
Rev. Woods at St. Paul s
Church, Buffalo, Oct. 9, 1922
with Mr. and Mrs. Anthony
Muscarella of Lockport as
attendants.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ritz
of Lockport were hosts for
t h e evening reception
assisted by relatives and
friends.
Centering the head table
was a four - tier wedding
cake topped by a miniature
bride, groom and golden
goblet and created by Mrs.
May Robillard.
Mrs. Ritz is the daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Blackley and has
one sister, Mrs. Mary
Watters and one brother,
Fred W. Blackley, residing
in Seminole and a brother,
Milton W. Blackley, in
Lockport.
She is retired from
Harrison Radiator Div.,
General Motors Corp. and
a former member of the
Women of the Moose 382.
Mrs. Ritz belongs to the
Christ Presbyterian Church
in Largo, Fla.
Mr. Ritz, the son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Loretto
Ritz, has one sister, Laura
Gagliardi, and one brother,
Samuel, both of Lockport.
He is retired from the
Upson Co., and is a former
member of the Loyal Order
of Moose 61
