  Niagara Gazette - 2/25/1947 LOCKPORT, Feb. 25-An illness of several weeks resulted in the death of John J. Blackley, 75, of 67 Walnut street, yesterday at Lockport City hospital. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Prudden funeral home, 242 Genesee street. Burial will be in Cold Springs cemetery. Mr. Blackley was born July 4, 1871, a son of George F. and Ellen Woods Blackley. He was employed as custodian at the Cowles Detergent company in Jackson street. . Surviving are five sons, Lewis, of Kenmore, William L. and Harold N., of this city, John C, Town of Amherst, and Robert F. Blackley, of Mlddletown, Conn.; two daugh- ters, Mrs. Thomas Dunn, of Medina, and Mrs. Fraed Savigny, of this city; two brothers, Robert and Charles F. Blackley, and a sister, Mrs. Sadie E. Wyles, all of this city.
