LOCKPORT - Mrs. Ida Blackley, 80, of 111 East
Ave., died in Lockport Memorial Hospital Wednesday
(Oct 11, 1967) after a long illness.
She .was the widow of Alvin
J. Blackley, who died in February
of last year. He had been
custodian, at -the Farm and
Home Center prior to his death.
, Mrs; Blackley- was a member
of the Women of the Moose,
382, a past president of the former
War Dead auxiliary, a
member of First Baptist Church
here and of the Wrights Corners
Volunteeer Fire Co. auxiliary.
Survivors include three stepsons,
Carlisle J. and James- H.
Blackley, both of Lockport,
and Clarence .R. Blackley, in
California; two stepdaughters,
Mrs. Jack (Mary) L'Amoreaux
and Mrs. Arthur (Julia) Ries,
both in California; 11 grand-
children and seven great-grand-
children; also a sister, Mrs.
Anna Brennan, Buffalo, and
several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call starting to
night, from 7 to 9 o'clock and
on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. at the Prudden and
Kandt Funeral Home.
Services will be held at the
funeral home at 1 p.m. Satur-
day, the Rev. Reginald J. Mar-
tin officiating. Burial will be in
Cold Springs Cemetery.
