Mr. and Mrs. Louis P. Shanley,

that the marriage of their
daughter, Mary Louise, to Carl
W. Blackley Jr., son of Mr. and
Mrs. Blackley. 198 Sax ton St.. will
be solemnized tomorrow morning
at 19 o'clock at St. Mary's Church.
A reception will be held at retries.

Ballerina-length gowns were worn by the bride and her
attendant! when Mitt Mary Louise Shanley, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Louis P. Shanley of 399 South Transit St.. and Carl W.
Blackley Jr.. too of Mr. and Mrs. Blackley of 196 Saxton St..
were united in marriage Saturday at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's
Church, the Rev. Albert G. Winter, pastor, officiating.

trimmed with lace at the bottom
of the hoop skin, with an offshoulder
Illusion neckline Her
shoulder-length veil of net and
laos- was worn over a skull cap
and ahe carried a cascade bouquet
of white roses and hyacinths
centered with a purple orchid.
BRIDE'S ATTENDANTS
Mrs. Andrew Mccann, matron
of honor, wore lavender and Miss
Carolyn Shanley, maid of honor,
wore aqua. Bridemaids were
Mrs. Frederick Bowers and Miss
Patricia Shanley, wearing pink.
Jane and Marjorie Shanley, flow-
er girls, wore yellow. Their
gowns were of net over taffeta
with lace jackets. they wore
flower headbands and carried cas-
cade bouquets of roses, carnations
and hyacinths.
Robert Foltz was best man and
ushers were Robert Richards,
Donald Oliver and Frederick Pet-
rie Jr. Richard Blackley and Dav-
id Shanley served at the altar
Music was by St. Mary's choir.
The bride's mother wore a light
gray crepe dress with light blue
accessories and a light blue flow-
ered hat. The groom's mother
wore a navy print dress with navy
Rita Lanighan assisted.
Baskets of flowers decorated the
church altar and floral bouquets
centered the bridal table at Pet-
rie's Restaurant, where a reception
to 100 guests was held. Mrs.
Frederick Petrie Sr., and Miss
Rita Lanlghan assisted.
TRAVELING SUIT
The couple left for an eastern
trip, the bride wearing a navy
suit with a white hat trimmed
with orchid and an orchid corsage.
They will make their home on On-
tario Street.
The bride was graduated from
Lockport High School. The groom
who served for three years with
the U. S. Army during World War
II, also was graduated from Lock-
port High Schooll and attended
University of Buffalo.
Prenuptial events included
showers given by Mrs. Paul Si-
mom and Mrs. William Haley;
Mrs. Robert Pencille and Mrs.
Eugene Russell; Mrs. Andrew
McCann and Miss Alice Brigham;
mrs. Frederick Bowers and Miss
Audrey Coakley.
