Wednesday evening last was the occasion
of a very pleasant social gathering
held at the residence of Mr. WILLIAM
BLACKLOCK of Ransomville. Upwards of
50 persons accepted tbe lnvitation to be
present and witness the marriage ceremony
of tbeir daughter REBECCA, to
EDGAR CORNELL of Porter. The ceremony
was performed by Rev. J. H. PERKINS,
of Mapleton. in a very impressive
and satisfactory manner. The supper was
of the beat and reflected great credit upon
Mrs. BLACKLOCK and her dtughters.
Upon the center of tbe table stood a
beautiful floral ornament, the gift of Mrs.
BAKER of Ransomville.
The bridal presents were many,in which
beauty and usefulness were combined.
Mr. and Mrs. CORNELL went east on a
wedding trip followed by the kindest
wishes of hosts of friends
