RANSOMVILLE - Mrs. Beatrice
McCollum, 62, of 3569 Ran
somville Road, Town of Porter
tax collector for the past four
years, died Sunday (March 24.
1968) at Ransomville General
Hospital.
She had been in ill health for
some time and was a patient at
the hospital for four weeks.
Born Sept. 3, 1905, in Niagara
Falls, she was a daughter of
the late Leonard and Julie Bradt,
and had lived in this community
for the past 44 years.
She was the widow of A. J
McCollum who died in November,
1967.
Mrs. McCollum also served as
treasurer for the Ransomville
Speedway aad formerly was
treasurer for many years of
Ransomville Unit 830, American
Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Alexander (Twila) More of
Chicago, and two sons, Chief
Boatswain J. Grant McCollum,
USN, Lewiston, and Richard D
McCollum of Ransomville; a
sister, Mrs. Richard Willis of
Niagara Falls, and two broth*
ers, Leonard Bradt of Stam
ford, Conn., and K. Arthur Bradt
of North Tonawanda; and
two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Wednesday from thp
Hardison Funeral Home, S.
Lake Street, Ransomville, with
the Rev. H. R. Goodrich of
Weston Ave. Free Methodist
Church officiating.
Friends may call from 7 to 9
this evening and from 2 to 5
and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
Burial will be in North Ridge
Cemetery.
