  Niagara Gazette - 10/2/1956 LOCKPORT- Miss Dasie Alice Blackman, 79, of 574 Walnut St., a resident here for the last six years, died today (Oct. 2, 1956) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Miss Blackman was born April 29, 1877 in the Town of Cam- bria, the daughter of the late Isaac B. and Mary A. Blackman. She attended rural schools in Cambria, Lockport High School and Bryant and stratton Business School, Buffalo. She was a resi- dent of Buffalo for 50 years be- fore returning here. She is survived by a brother, Walter Blackman, Thrall Rd., Town of Cambria, and a niece and nephew. the Rev. Ernest E. Davis, pas- tor of Emanual Methodist Church, Lockport, will conduct services Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Prud- den & Kandt Funeral Home, this city. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
