Marten, age 95, of North Tonawanda, March 18, 2014 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. Beatrice was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and was a former member of the LaSalle Church of Christ. She was the wife of the late Wallace Marten, who died in 1993. Beloved mother of Keith (Glory) Wallace of Sanborn and the late Joyce Scherrer. Grandmother of Michelle Erwin, David (Kim) Marten and Randy Marten. Great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Donald Marten and Leona Black. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1 PM. The Rev. Karl Koch will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
