(nee Blair) Shepler, of North Tonawanda, age 84, passed away on March 10, 2014. Mrs. Shepler was born on May 5, 1929 in the City of Tonawanda, daughter of the late Mary Blair. Wilma, a homemaker while her two children were young, later worked at the North Tonawanda Public Library, she was a avid reader and bowler. Wilma was an organizer for over 40 years of the "Smith Family Reunion". Mrs. Shepler also enjoyed her grandchildren very much. Although Wilma was born and raised in Salem UCC, once she settled in North Tonawanda she became an active member of St. Peter's UCC until it's closing. Beloved wife of 62 years to Robert Dean Shepler; devoted mother of Susan I. (Jim) Petruzzi of Ft. Collins, CO and R. Dean (Sandy) Shepler of Schenectady, NY; loving grandmother of Jason Gabour, Brandon Michael and Matthew Robert Shepler; great-grandmother of Bailey, Madelyn, Logan and Carter Gabour. Also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION), 533 Meadow Dr., North Tonawanda. Funeral Services on Friday at 11:00 AM from Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St., Tonawanda.(PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH) The Rev. Jeremy Lopez officiating.
