- Joel F. Klein passed peacefully at the age of 94 on January 11, 2017. Son of the late Joseph and Helen (Zorr) Klein he was born September 2, 1922. He is also predeceased by his wife, Norma Jergens.
Joel was a United States Navy Veteran serving in World War Two on the USS Wasp. He was an avid pistol shooter at Niagara County Sportsmen.
Surviving him are his children, David (Cheryl) Klein and Linda Ann Blair of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Jeri Lyn (David) Rohde, Sandy (Kelly) Rodwick, Robyn (David )Klose, Kimberly (Brad) Hall and Joseph Klein; along with ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and his second family that he loved dearly at Heritage Manor of Lockport; along with many friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 20 at 10 AM with a memorial service at noon at Ross Funeral Home, Gaul Chapel on East Avenue in Lockport.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to American Cancer Society or Niagara Hospice.
