.Mrs. Mary S. P e a t t died at t h e Bat
a v i a hospital at a l a t e hour Monday
n i g h ; from the. i n f i r m i t i e s of age. Mrs.
P e a t t had been an i n v a l i d for four
y e a r s . The deceased was b o r n in t he
town of Byron on March 17, 1833, and
h a d been a r e s i d e n t of B a t a v i a for t he
past 30 y e a r s , r e s i d i n g with Miss Cord
e l i a : Blair of P e a r l street for t en
y e a r s , and since the time of Miss
Blair's death.- which o c c u r r e d about
20 y e a r s ago, she h a d lived alone. Mrs.
P e a t : is s u r v i v e d by two h a l f . b r o t h e r s.
H e n r y Blair of A l b i o n and Charles L.
Blair of B a t a v i a . and four nephews
a n d two nieces.' The f u n e r a l was held
f r om Sandford Adam's u n d e r t a k i ng
rooms at 2 o'clock on W e d n e s d a y aft
e r n o o n , and the burial took place in
t h e Elmwood cemetery.
