Mrs. Mary Blamer. of 8015 Pine
avenue, a widely known and highly
esteemed resident of this community
for almost half a century, died In
Mount St. Mary's hospital at 2:30
o'clock this morning at the age of
73 years. She suffered a heart attack
Sunday and complications proved fatal.
A native of Alsace-Lorraine. Mrs.
Blamer came to the United States at
an early age and for more than 40
years had been a resident of the old
Village of La Salle and this city. 8he
had a wide circle of friends, among
whom she was held In the highest esteem.
Her husband was the late Anthony
F. Blamer. Surviving her are
three sons. Peter, Joseph and Anthony;
a daughter. Mrs. John Eberhardt.
and four grandchildren, all of
this city. Mrs. Blamer was a member
of the shrine of Our Lady of Help of
Christians at Cheektowaga,
The funeral will be held from the
family home at 8:30 a. m. Friday, with
services at St. Mary's church at 9 a.
m. Burial will be in Rlverdale cemetery.
