  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 5/9/1925 John Blanchard, 49 years old, died suddenly last night at his home, No. 76 Ellicott creek road. His death fol- lowed an attack of heart disease. Blanchard was born on Prince Edwaard Island, Ont. He resided at Buffalo and Akron, N.Y., for a number of years before locating in Tonawanda eight months ago. He is survived by a wife, one son, Alfred; two daughters, the Misses Violet and Irene Blanchard of Tonawanda; four brothers, Fred Blanchard of Wanaptia, Ont., Charles Blanchard of Philadelphia, Frank and Stanley Blanchard of Waubaushene, Ont., and three sisters, Mrs. T. H. McFadden of Detroit, Mrs James Mid- dlemiss of Grawn, Mich., and Mrs. Burt Tubbs of Bay City, Mich. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the late residence and half an hour later from the St. Francis church, the Very Rev. John A. Weismantel officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet.
