NIAGARA FALLS —
Betty J. (nee Kammerdeiner) Weaver, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 18, 2013. Born on May 28, 1924 in Goheenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nerr and Maggie (Adams) Kammerdeiner.
Mrs. Weaver attended schools in Pennsylvania and came to the Niagara Falls area as a teenager. On December 5, 1942, Betty married Fred C. Weaver, Sr. He predeceased her on January 16, 1992. She was primarily a home maker throughout her life. Mrs. Weaver was a member of Colonial Village Presbyterian Church. Betty enjoyed crocheting, sewing and cooking. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Weaver is survived by nine children, Sandra Hawkins of Tonawanda, NY, Fred C. (Susan) Weaver, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC, Frances J. (Russell) Wiseman of Arcade, NY, Cheryl (Don) Bish of Sanborn, NY, Linda Cafarella of Niagara Falls, NY, Dennis (Denise) Weaver of Texas, Roberta Brady of Niagara Falls, NY, Brenda (Robert) Clasper of Colorado and Charles Weaver of Churchville, NY; twenty-eight grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was predeceased by one grandson, Derrick Wiseman; and six siblings, Mabel Rupert, Ira, Nelson, Clinton and Warren Kammerdeiner and Mildred Raber.
The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 PM in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (297-9007). Funeral services and interment will be private. Interment will be held in Acacia Park Cemetery in North Tonawanda, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Elm & Carlton Streets, Buffalo, NY 14263.
