Mrs. Elva Colburn Butcher, 75,
of East Main Road, Lamberton,
died' last Friday (August 3, 1951)
at her home. S h e was -the widow
of John Butcher.
Born in F r e w s b u r g May 12, 1876,
Mrs. Butcher h a d lived in t h i s vicinity
most of her life. She was-a
member of the First Baptist
Church of Brocton.
Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Maurice Blodgett. a n d Mrs.
Roy Hopper, both of Lamberton,
and Mrs. L. B. Scott of Clarksville,
Tenn.; and one brother, Ralph Colburn
of Lamberton.
Services were conducted Monday
morning in the late residence
with the Rev. Leon:. J . Davis, pastor
of the First Baptist Church of
Forestville, officiating: Burial was
in the Forestville Cemetery.
