- Helen C. Waterson, 87, of Medina, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, the Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Medina. Born on September 22, 1915, in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Adaline (Fink) Schilling. Helen grew up in Medina, graduating from Medina High School in 1933. She married G. Leslie Waterson on May 6, 1939, making their home in Medina. Helen was a member ot the Trinity Lutheran Church of Medina, also, a member ol the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans. In her spare-time she enjoyed traveling the USA with her husband, having gone to "Hawaii and California, and at one time, having spent winters in Florida. Helen is survived by two nieces and two nephews, Lee (Marlene) Schilling of Mendon, NY, Mary Lynn (William) Macon of Baltimore, John Earley of Bradenton, FL, and Cherie (Thomas) Holahan of Wayland, NY; also, two sister-in-laws, Mary Schilling of Middleport, NY and Rita Farley of Bradenton, FL; Helen is predeceased by her husband, "Les" Waterson, who passed away on January 2, 1998, also a brother, Melvin Schilling in 1967. I here are no calling hours. Relatives and friends may attend a funeral service on Friday, May 14, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, with the Rev. Peter A. Lindemann officiating. Burial will be at the family's convenience in the Bates Rd. Cemetery, Medina. Memorials may be made in Helen's name to a charity of one's choice
