- David Richard Kline, age 86, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, entered into rest at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. He was the son of the late Ralph W. Kline and May L. (Fry) Kline.
David attended Niagara Falls schools and graduated from LaSalle High School. He received his BA degree in Math Education from University of Buffalo. He taught over 30 years in the Niagara Falls City School District, teaching math and computer science at Gaskill Middle School, and the former LaSalle Senior High School, until his retirement. David served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict, in the Military Police Corps. He enjoyed playing the piano. David was a lifelong member of the Order of the Masonic Lodge. He attended First United Methodist Church.
Brothers, Ralph W. Kline and Daniel Kline; sisters, Ruth Goss, Altha Kline, Gertrude Mason and Martha Williams; nephews, Ronald (Grace) Goss and Paul Goss, preceded him in death. David is survived by nieces, Diane (Anthony) Gelose and Patricia 'Patty' Kline (Peter Downes); nephew, David (Michele) Goss; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 Tonawanda Creek Road, Town of Pendleton, on Tuesday, September 13th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael A. Keicher, officiating. Arrangements were with the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, Wheatfield.
