Mrs. Glenn (Jane) Deinhardt, Mrs.
Lewis (Verna) Altrogge, Carlton and
Clair Bluhm, all of Akron, N.Y : also
survived by nine grandchildren; brother
of William. Friends may call at the
Bernhardt Funeral Home, 130 Main St.,
Akron, N.Y., from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.,
where funeral services will be held
Tuesday afternoon at 2 30 o'clock. Memorial
gifts made to St. John's Lutheran
Church would be appreciated by
the family. Mr. Bluhm was a member
of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tillman
Post No. 900 and Veteran of W.W.I.

Carl R. Bluhm, 73, f o r m e r;
superintendent of the electric--
plant in the Village o' Akron,
died Saturday (Jan. 14, 1967) of
a heart attack.
Mr. Bluhm died at the home
of a son, Carlton, 227 Wright
Road, Town of Alabama, Gene-
see County. He lived at 142
Buell St., Akron, for more than
50 years until 1963 when he mov-
ed to his son's home.
Mr. Bluhm was a native of
Germany and came to Akron as
a boy. He became an electric
plant employe about 1930 and
superintendent about 15 years
later. He retired in 1957.
An Army veteran of World
War I, Mr. Bluhm was a mem-
ber and former commander of
the American Legion's L.L.Till-
man Post 990 of Akron.
Surviving, besides his son,
are two daughters, Mrs. Gen-
na Deinhardt and Mrs. Lewis
Altrooge; another son, Clair
Bluhm, all of Akron, a broth-
er, William Bluhm of Niagara
Falls, and nine grandchildren.
A funeral service will be con-
ducted at 2:30 Tuesday after-
noon in the Bernhardt Funeral
Home, 135 Main St., Akron. Bur-
ial will be in Evergreen Ceme-
tery there.
